Join baby-wearing enthusiast Holly Yeager as she explores the comforts of baby-wearing, including benefits to you and your baby, safety tips, and enjoy an opportunity to sample many different styles of safe carriers.

Wednesday, July 17 – Q&A with the Mothership Doulas at the Lancaster Public Library, 6:30pm.

Enjoy a safe, no-pressure space to ask any and all questions you may have about what a doula is and how a doula can help. Also feel free to ask for any ideas or tips that may be helpful for your birth/postpartum experience.

Monday, July 22  – “The Ins & Outs of Cloth Diapering” at Babies R Us in York, 6:30pm.

Hear from our cloth diaper expert Claire Reiner about the pro’s of cloth diapering, understanding different styles of diapers and which ones are most productive, washing instructions and products that are complementary to cloth. You will also be able to view samples of different kinds of diapers.

A quick overview of what to cover in your birth preference list, view example plans, and other ideas for a clear and empowering birth experience.

OCTOBER

Wednesday, October 9 – “Debunking Prenatal Nutrition Myths” at the Lancaster Public Library, 1pm.

Join Certified Holistic Health Coach Jaclyn Downs as she helps you understand the importance of nutrition in your childbearing years. Dispelling common myths, what’s safe and what’s not, and helpful ideas on integrating new ingredients into your diet.

 NOVEMBER

Wednesday, November 20 – “Everything You Need to Know About Placenta Encapsulation” highlighted topic at the Lancaster Public Library, 6:30pm.

Led by Claire Reiner, Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, learn what all the buzz is about, how it’s done, and the benefits of placenta encapsulation.

 DECEMBER

Wednesday, December 11 – “Comfort Measures in Labor and Delivery” at the Lancaster Public Library, 1pm.

Join Susan Wenger as we discuss and practice comfort measures that can be used before and during labor to help keep a clear, calm mind and find some ease during and between contractions.
